We had a heated discussion on new technologies combining machine learning and ontology with Dr. Ken Imai (Department of Medical Engineering Informatics, Center for Disease Biotechnology, Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo), who has been leading a large-scale research project on clinical medical ontology as a core member. Being human, it was a valuable opportunity to consider the deployment potential of artificial intelligence.
