In our planned research for Academic Transformation (B), the NCNP team with Dr. Takuichi Nishimura and Dr. Chiaki Oshiyama of the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) has been working on knowledge structuring to reveal tacit knowledge in psychotherapy.
This week, we had a heated discussion with Dr. Ken Imai (Department of Medical Informatics, Center for Disease Biotechnology, Graduate School of Medicine, University of Tokyo), who has been leading a large-scale research project called Clinical Medical Ontology as a core member, regarding a new technology combining machine learning and ontology. It was a valuable opportunity for us to think about the deployment possibilities of artificial intelligence because we are human beings.
We will continue to engage in discussions with many professors for the further advancement of this field.
